Press Release:

I Like Comic Con is coming to the Vancouver/Portland area at the Clark County Event Center! On February 10 and 11, 2018, join us for a celebration for fans of all genres and ages as we bring you amazing guest writers, artists, creators, comic book related celebrities, cosplay, a huge Artist Alley, exhibitors and so much more!

I Like Comic Con is a return to the roots of what made the current state of pop culture great – comic books and their artists and writers.  If not for comics we wouldn’t be enjoying the myriad of comic book based movies, television shows, cartoons, swag, or comic cons for that matter.  Can you imagine no comic cons? No Avengers movies?  No Batman films?  No Wonder Woman movie?  How could we go on without having our coffee in our favorite Deadpool mug?  Can you imagine it?  We can’t and thankfully we don’t have to!

Too often we see events focusing on Hollywood, media stars, and personalities.  We’ve overheard at many “comic cons” how people wish there were more comics and comic related creators.  I Like Comic Con pays tribute to comic books, their writers, creators, and artists by featuring comic artists and writers, comic related celebrity guests, and a wide range of exhibitors.

Guests currently include:

  • Jonboy Meyers: Jonboy’s comic book art includes working on such titles as The Inhumans, Spawn, Teen Titans, Spawn, G.I. Joe, Black Dynamite, Thor, Supergirl, Huntress, She Hulk, Hulk, Spider-Man, Arana, Gen 13, Ninja Scroll, Danger Girl, Justice League of America, and X-Men to name a few.
  • Karl Kesel: Veteran artist and writer on titles such as Harley Quinn, Legends, Superman, Captain America, Daredevil, and more.
  • Aaron Lopresti: Aaron’s impressive body of work includes Spider-Man, The X-Men, Wonder Woman, The Hulk, The Avengers, Batman, Plastic Man, Green Lantern, Superboy, Xena, Star Trek, Gen 13, and more!
  • Keith Tucker: Keith worked on nearly every 80s and 90s cartoon you watched as a kid including Transformers, GI Joe, He-Man, Spider-Man, Animaniacs, DuckTales, and Ghostbusters to name a few!

I Like Comic Con is now accepting Exhibitor and Artist Alley applications!  Our event will take place in the Clark County Event Center located near Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon and the show floor will be 100,000 square feet.  For more information and to download a copy of the application, please visit our Exhibitor Info page.  Please read and follow the directions on the application, as an incomplete application may delay processing.
