Meet Ernie Hudson, Scott Snyder, Mark Spears, and Chris Bachalo at this year’s Cincinnati Comic Expo! The 16th annual event will take place September 25-27 at the First Financial Center. All ticket levels are all available for purchase!

Ernie Hudson will be meeting fans at the 2026 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

Entering his 6th decade of acting with over 260 credits, fans know Ernie from numerous projects. His television roles include appearances on Fantasy Island, The Incredible Hulk, Taxi, The Dukes of Hazzard to Stargate SG-1, Heroes, Oz, Modern Family, Arrow, Quantum Leap, The Family Business, and much more! He can currently be seen on Boston Blue.

His voice has been heard on Super Friends, Batman: The Animated Series, Transformers Prime, Spider-Man, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and others. He will portray the voice of Combat Carl in the upcoming Toy Story 5.

On the big screen, Ernie is recognized for his role of Winston in The Ghostbusters film franchise. His other film credits include The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, The Crow, The Basketball Diaries, both Miss Congeniality movies, Champions, and many others.

Comic book artist Mark Spears is featured alongside various illustrated covers of his work, with event details for the Cincinnati Comic Expo on September 25-27.

Artist Mark Spears will be in the First Financial Center for the 2026 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

He is a professional comic artist who has worked with Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Image Comics, Warner Bros, and Corgi Inc. He has created covers for Spawn, Gunslinger Spawn, King Spawn, Scorched, Vampirella, and Red Sonja. He has also worked on major licenses like Star Trek, Harry Potter, and Universal Monsters.

Fans can see his work on shelves at local comic shops with the Monsters! series, Action Comics, Kneel Before Zod, Power Rangers, Rat City, Spawn ’77. His MidKnight Man will be available later this month!

Artist Chris Bachalo is joining the lineup for the 2026 Cincinnati Comic Expo!

Chris is internationally recognized as one of the most popular artists in the comic industry. His body of work covers a wide spectrum of genres ranging from the critically acclaimed Sandman, Shade: The Changing Man, Death: The High Cost of Living and Batman series for DC to Marvel’s Doctor Strange, Uncanny X-Men, The Amazing Spider-man and Generation X– the first title from Marvel that was adapted into a live action film for Fox. The short story “The Wheel” written by Sandman and American Gods writer Neil Gaiman and illustrated by Chris featured the Death character and was inducted into the library of Congress in 2003. It was created as part of a tribute to 9/11. His cover work for the title Hunter, The Age of Magic for DC was included as part of a New York gallery show for the Society of Illustrators. He also teamed with Stan Lee on DC’s Stan Lee re-imagines the DC Universe featuring Catwoman and illustrated the cover for the Hollywood Reporter celebrating his 75th birthday. He currently has several small projects in development.

Chris also co-created two creator owned properties. He collaborated with current Executive Vice President of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb, on the Vertigo/DC, titled The Witching Hour and co-created with Ben Ten’s Joe Kelly the retro-futuristic, Sci Fi epic, Steampunk, published by Cliffhanger /DC.

In addition to his work in comics, Chris’ artwork has graced the covers of The Hollywood Reporter and PSM (PlayStation magazine). Other clients have included Activision, Oakley, Taco Bell, Stuff magazine, Mad Magazine, Upper Deck, Disney, Neiman Marcus, EA and Def Jam records. He was also commissioned to do artwork that was transformed into a 50’ X 80’ mural at the Marvel/Universal theme park in Orlando, Florida.
