About the book:
Dubbed “the king of comedy” by Forbes, Hart, a stand-up comedian and actor who has starred in Central Intelligence, Think Like a Man, and many others film, started with the odds stacked against him. Born in North Philadelphia, Hart felt unwanted by his abusive mother and drug-addicted father. He could have become a crack dealer, like his brother. Instead, he found another way, in part by finding other ways to look at life and his options. Hart’s memoir is as inspirational as it is funny, and demonstrates how crucial it is to believe in yourself. Following his achievements as a performer, Hart has become the CEO of HartBeat Productions.
