Omaha is thrilled to welcome its first Comic Con to Nebraska in August. Comic Con Nebraska, a dynamic new pop‑culture convention, will make its debut on August 2–3, 2025 at the Omaha Convention Center (CHI Health Center Omaha), located at 455 N. 10th Street Omaha, NE 68102. The event will take place on Saturday, August 2, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Sunday, August 3, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Children 12 and under are free, while adult general admission begins at $26. A wristband is required for entry each day, and tickets are currently available at ComicConNebraska.com.
As Omaha’s first-ever Comic Con, this event marks a new milestone for the region’s pop culture and fan community. It will bring together top-tier guest artists, creators, and illustrators from across the comic book industry while offering a dynamic exhibitor space filled with original storytelling and locally made art. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of exciting programming and attractions. The Artist Alley and exhibitor area will offer a curated marketplace showcasing original art, handcrafted items, collectibles, 3D-printed works, candles, and fan-inspired creations from both regional and national talent. The programming is designed to be inclusive and family-friendly, welcoming fans of all ages and interests.

Renowned comic creators, including Chrissie Zullo-Uminga, Ron Marz, Chris Giarrusso, Caleb Goellner, Jeff Parker, Steve Lieber, and many others will be on site. One powerhouse talent joining the lineup includes legendary writer Ron Marz. His prolific career spans over three decades across industry giants like Marvel, DC, Image, and Dark Horse. Known for his iconic runs on Silver Surfer, Green Lantern, Thor, and Witchblade, Marz also helped pen the historic Marvel vs. DC crossover and currently brings his storytelling prowess to Blizzard’s Diablo franchise. Another acclaimed illustrator joining is Chrissie Zullo Uminga, a Connecticut-based artist celebrated for her whimsical yet impactful style. Zullo Uminga has brought her artistic vision to projects for Marvel, and Lucasfilm, with standout work in comics, collectibles, and statue design.
In addition, over a dozen panels and workshops will be held throughout the event, providing interactive sessions and creative insights from professional creators, industry experts, and local voices. Lastly, there will be gaming, both board games and tabletop role playing games such as D&D, plus an entire area of arcade games to play.
