The Granite State Comicon returns to the Doubletree by Hilton in downtown Manchester September 15th, 16th and 17th! Founded in 2003 the Granite State Comicon has become NH’s comic book and pop culture convention featuring artists, vendors, cosplay, gaming, workshops, kids con and more!
This year’s installment of the Granite State Comicon packs the Doubletree with so much to see and do the organizers have run out of space. “When we started in 2003 we took up a small portion of the hotel’s ballroom and over the past few years we have grown to occupy every available meeting space and we still could use more room!” said promoter Chris Proulx.
The Granite State Comicon features celebrity guests including WWE Hall of Famers Arn Anderson, Billy Gunn, and Scott Steiner, Yellow Power Ranger Karan Ashley, Jesse Usher from Amazon’s The Boys, and NH’s own Kyle Pacek from The Mandalorian. The celebrity guests can be found in the Expo Hall with a wide variety of vendors!
The Granite State Comicon also hosts a wide range of comic book writers and artists including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles artists Steve Lavigne and Ben Bishop. Writer and artist Sean Gordon Murphy will be appearing on Saturday for Batman Day! Artists can be found in the Armory Hall all weekend long!
The Granite State Comicon also has a number of special features including a dedicated Kids Con, The Victory Condition Gaming Lounge, appearances from the Star Wars 501st, panels, cosplay contest, after parties and more!
