NC Comicon is back to take over downtown Durham November 8th-10th! Locally owned & operated, our focus is creativity, inspiration, education, and most of all – FUN!
This year’s show is Turtle-Tastic! Come meet KEVIN EASTMAN, creator of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Kevin will be at the show all day Saturday and Sunday signing autographs, giving insight into his career with a selection of intimate panels, and meeting fans like you!

Not only giving you admission all 3 days of the con, this pass gets you into an exclusive Saturday night Meet & Greet with the man himself, along with a drink ticket and light refreshments. This year’s show comes complete with a star-studded guest list with some of the brightest creator superstars in the industry! AMANDA CONNER and JIMMY PALMIOTTI, best known for their work revamping Harley Quinn for DC Comics, are hanging in Bull City all weekend long! Eisner Award-winning artist MITCH GERADS of DC’s Mister Miracle and Batman, and JAMES O’BARR, the creator of the iconic The Crow, are just a few of the creators you’ll be able to meet at NC Comicon!
And guess what? NC Comicon doesn’t stop once the showfloor closes! Kick off your evenings with the NCC COMIQUEST FILM FESTIVAL at the historic Carolina Theatre of Durham! This is your blast to the past, and we’re showing all your favorite retro movies! This year’s lineup includes: Akira, The Crow, Godzilla Destroy All Monsters, The Last Unicorn, The Rocketeer, Serenity, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze, Clash of the Titans (1981), and Tron (1982). But it doesn’t stop there! On Saturday night put on your dancing shoes, your Superman cape- because it’s time for the universe-renowned pop-culture party extravaganza known as GUARDIANS OF THE GALA! Kicking off at 8pm at the Durham Armory directly across the street from the convention center, the Gala is the place to party down after an action-packed day at the show. We’ll have a DJ spinning your favorite tracks all night long, plus a few surprises! Come as you are, in your costume, your regular clothes, or your pajamas – and prepare to hardcore nerd-party the NC Comicon way!
