Join Henry Barajas on Saturday, November 16, 2019 as he discusses his debut graphic novel from Image Comics/Top Cow, La Voz De M.A.Y.O. Tata Rambo.
This is the true story of Barajas’ great-grandfather Ramon Jaurigue, aka Tata Rambo, a compatriot of Cesar Chavez and WWII veteran who co-founded the Mexican, American, Yaqui, and Others (M.A.Y.O.) organization to improve the lives of the Pascua Yaqui tribe.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase, and a portion of sales will go to benefit The Friends of the North Hollywood Library. This program begins at 2:00 PM and is free to attend.
