As the saying goes, the best things come to those who wait. Since we’ve waited fifteen years to be able to tell you this, we’re making the first guest announcement for 2019 earlier than usual. Ladies and gentlemen, the most requested guest in the history of the show, Bruce Campbell, is coming to Rock and Shock!
Bruce, no doubt, is a legend for many reasons. Not only is he sharp of wardrobe as well as wit, he also has an extensive resume of film and television roles that has earned him a fanbase in multiple genres. In non-horror roles alone he is memorable for The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., Burn Notice, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Jack Of All Trades, and very memorable cameos in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy among many others.
The horror genre, of course, is what we’re about, so let’s list a sampling of Bruce’s many hall of fame credits, starting with the series that made him a household horror name, the Evil Dead trilogy. As if that weren’t enough there’s also Crimewave, Maniac Cop (1&2), Intruder, Darkman, Waxwork II: Lost in Time, Mindwarp, Bubba Ho-Tep, Man With the Screaming Brain, The Woods, My Name is Bruce, and he also went another round in the world that he cut his teeth in by starring in the recent three seasons of Ash vs Evil Dead.
