I’m one of the original vendors & many of the founders are my personal friends. I was there for it’s origin at the now defunct Primate Promotions show & take great pride that it is a New England comic book show of great quality & growing popularity.

Kevin Feige Confirms DAREDEVIL Rights at Marvel StudiosThe live-action film rights to Daredevil have indeed reverted back to Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige confirmed to Newsarama. Speaking with Newsarama Monday at the Iron Man 3 press junket, the Marvel Studios president of production told us at the end of our conversation that, as previously speculated, the Daredevil rights are indeed now under the Disney/Marvel umbrella.

Wizard World made $6.7 million in conventions in 2012Wizard World has just filed its annual report for 2012 and the convention business was up a good bit in 2012. The report attributes the increased profits to "running better advertised and marketed events" as well as increasing ticket prices and "overall size and scope of each event."

But there were other events to take its place, in some small way. Such as the Not-The-Boston-Comic-Con at in-the-same-state store Comicazi. The event wound up being even better than advertised, as Nick Bradshaw and Ale Garza appeared for a couple hours before heading out to another event in Beverly, but were replaced by Bill Willingham.
