Heroes Convention, or HeroesCon for short, kicks off today in Charlotte, North Carolina, and here’s a quick roundup of some of the links and talk about it on the web.

To give you an idea of what to expect, The Comics Reporter talks about Ten Things I Liked About Heroes Con last year. Robot 6 @ CBR provides a preview, and Creative Loafing gives Ten reasons why HeroesCon 2009 will rock.
C.B. Cebulski at table #711 in Artists Alley selling, signing and reviewing portfolios but will also take part in a few panels.
Archie Comics will have some creators at the show including Jim Amash, Tereas Davidson, Ian Flynn, Joe Staton, and John Workman.
Don’t forget that, according to Blog@Newsarama, AdHouse will be offering a preview of the third volume of artist James Jean’s art book series Process Recess.
Matt Kindt is planning on doing a lot of commissions at the show as well as a panel.
Jason Latour will be at Booth 630/729 or the 12 Gauge Booth with sketchbooks and doing sketches.
Wide Awake Press is going to have a lot of new stuff at the show.
Kim Feigenbaum will have prints and a sketchbook for sale and will be taking commissions – table SP – 340.
Zack Kruse of Mystery Solved! will be sharing table #SP 638 with Dave Wachter.
