Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Fantagraphics—the greatest comics and graphic novel publisher in the United States, at the Loved One on Thursday, October 15. Get tickets at the link.
Fantagraphics publisher Eric Reynolds will be in town from Seattle and will be joined in conversation with Secret Headquarters founder Dave Pifer at The Loved One, a new bookshop/gallery/community space in Los Angeles.
A cavalcade of artists published by Fantagraphics —many of whom call Los Angeles home—will be on hand to sign books and raise a glass to 50 years—an astounding achievement for any independent publisher.
Like all events at The Loved One, this event is free and open to the public. All we ask is that you support your local bookshop night-of and buy some books (or in this case, comics and graphics novels) to help fuel our public arts programming.
The Loved One has ordered in a myriad of new Fantagraphics titles to have on hand to sell the night of this event. We couldn’t be happier to host such a spectacular celebration.
