In this special presentation, Doran will share an overview of her career and how she carved out a life in the comics industry. Her work spans a wide range of artistic styles and genres, from projects with major publishers and independent presses to pioneering efforts in self-publishing.
Doran will explore how street smarts and business sense led a creator from the underclass with no formal art education and no money to a robust career, including projects with people like Alan Moore, Anne Rice, Clive Barker, J. Michael Straczynski, Neil Gaiman, and more.
