Eisner and Inkpot Award-winning David F. Walker is coming to the Northwest Museum of Cartoon Arts from 2-4 pm on Sunday, December 7th! Ask him your burning questions about writing comics and his critically acclaimed work BIG JIM AND THE WHITE BOY, BITTER ROOT, and THE BLACK PANTHER PARTY: A GRAPHIC NOVEL HISTORY.
While Walker is primarily renowned for his work as a comics writer, having also worked as professor of writing at PSU’s Comics Studies program, he’s also the creator of BADAZZ MOFO a magazine collection of essays and film reviews.
His autobiographical comics strip series DISCOMBOBULATED is an honest and humorous portrayal of his life.
