Indie Comics Creator Con (IC3) is not just another comic book convention. It’s a ground-breaking event that uniquely focuses on creators and those who champion independent art and ideas. IC3 provides a dynamic and inclusive platform for independent artists, writers, and publishers to showcase their talents and connect with an engaged audience. This annual event, held at Southern Connecticut State University, celebrates the spirit of creativity, community, and camaraderie within the world of comics. Dean Haspiel Emmy and Ringo Award-winning cartoonist Dean Haspiel created BILLY DOGMA, THE RED HOOK, and COVID COP. He’s worked with Harvey Pekar, Jonathan Ames, and HBO’s BORED TO DEATH, with credits at Marvel, DC/Vertigo, Archie, Image, and Webtoon. A Yaddo fellow, playwright, and emerging filmmaker, he lives in Brooklyn, NY. |

Jim Rugg Eisner and Ignatz Award-winning cartoonist Jim Rugg is the creator of HULK GRAND DESIGN, STREET ANGEL, AFRODISIAC, and more. Co-host of YouTube’s CARTOONIST KAYFABE, his work is in the Smithsonian and National Archives. He has taught visual storytelling at Denmark’s School of Visual Arts and the Animation Workshop. Loves comics, zines, podcasts, pro-wrestling, and pizza. He lives in Pittsburgh. |

Tom Scioli Tom Scioli is a writer and artist known for GODZILLA’S MONSTERPIECE THEATRE, I AM STAN, and JACK KIRBY: THE EPIC LIFE OF THE KING OF COMICS. He’s reinvented classics like FANTASTIC FOUR: GRAND DESIGN and TRANSFORMERS VS. G.I. JOE while creating originals like American Barbarian. An auteur cartoonist, he writes, draws, colors, and hand-letters his work. He also hosts THE TOTAL RECALL SHOW. |

Heather Antos Heather Antos is an awarding-winning comic book editor, writer, and illustrator most known for her work on Marvel’s STAR WARS and DEADPOOL lines, as well as one of the co-creators of GWENPOOL. She currently oversees the critically acclaimed and Eisner-Nominated STAR TREK line as Group Editor of Licensing at IDW Publishing. |
