Cartoonist Phil Witte appears on Saturday, November 9, 2024 1:00 pm for a multimedia presentation based on his new book “Funny Stuff: How Great Cartoonists Make Great Cartoons” (Prometheus Books, 2024). “Funny Stuff” examines the single-panel gag cartoon, the creative process, illustration styles, types of humor, and more, with over 100 cartoons by legendary cartoonists, plus exclusive interviews and a foreword by Bob Mankoff, the former cartoon editor of The New Yorker.
