This year is the 40th anniversary of the release of the original TMNT comic, and Wonderland Comics is honored to host the legendary TMNT artist, letterer, and colorist Steve Lavigne in the shop this year on Saturday, May 4th starting at noon for Free Comic Book Day to celebrate.
Steve attended high school with TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman and was the first artist employee hired by Eastman & Laird. Steve has worked on the original TMNT series, the Archie Adventure series, and many other TMNT comics; was the Art Director responsible for the vast majority of TMNT licensing, products, and packaging art; and Michelangelo’s fun-loving personality is based on him!
