The rumors are true! Wicked Comic Con has traded April showers for some hot fun in the August sun! Specifically, our third annual convention will be held on August 10-11, 2024. With this change of dates, we are also moving venues back to the Westin Boston Seaport District, putting us right on Boston’s historic waterfront.
After months of preparation, we are now ready to start announcing this year’s magnificent guestlist. If you enjoyed who brought in last year you will not believe who we have coming this year!
To kick things off we are excited to bring Takeshi Miyazawa all the way from Japan to meet his fans. He is the creator of the manga Lost Planet: Bound Raven and has contributed to Shojo Beat. His long list of American credits includes titles such as Ms. Marvel, Ghost-Spider, Amazing Spider-Man, Silk, Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane, The Princess Who Saved Herself, and more. His latest project, Mech Cadets from BOOM! Studios, was adapted to an animated series which debuted last year on Netflix.
“Bringing in Takeshi was a giant score for us,” said Bob Shaw, show promoter of Wicked Comic Con. “This is his first appearance ever at a New England convention and fans will be thrilled for the rare opportunity to meet an artist of this caliber.”
