Legendary actor Billy Dee Williams returns to his birthplace of Harlem to discuss his latest memoir What Have We Here? on Wednesday, February 14th at 6:30 PM. From his first film role in The Last Angry Man to the first Black character in the Star Wars universe, hear Williams describe all that has sustained and carried him through a lifetime of dreams and adventure. He will be in conversation with communications veteran Harriette Cole.
Billy Dee Williams was born and raised in New York City. He has starred in forty movies, seven Broadway plays, and has made more than forty television shows and TV movies combined. He lives in Los Angeles. Search the Schomburg Center’s collections for more on Williams.
