Artist Paolo Rivera was just announced on last night’s CAF Update as attending OAX this January! Paolo and his father Joe Rivera will be set up alongside Mark Hay from Splash Page Art and up-and-coming Argentinian artist Maxi Dallo will also now be attending OAX. We don’t have details yet on what artworks they’ll be bringing or if they’ll be tackling convention sketches during the show, but we can guarantee you Paolo and Joe are making a piece for the OAX Saturday Night Auction! We’re looking forward to seeing what they create!
The 1st Annual Original Arts Expo (OAX) is being held in Orlando, Florida on January 26 to 28, 2024 at the newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Studios and will exclusively showcase original comic, illustration, and other narrative art forms with the aim to immediately establish itself as the premiere visual storytelling art event in the United States. OAX has been designed from the ground up to celebrate the attending Artists while honoring Original Art Collectors. The show promises to be an intimate and immersive three-day can’t miss party and networking event focused entirely on this art collecting genre.
