Join the NC Museum of Art on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at 6:30PM for an evening with Keith Knight, award-winning syndicated cartoonist of The K Chronicles, creator of The Knight Life, musician, educator, and co-creator of Hulu’s series Woke, now in its second season.
Sharing his story, wisdom, art, and humor, Knight lectures on “Comics Can Save the World: The Intersection of Comics and Social Justice.” Attendees are encouraged to have awkward but necessary conversations to fight for marginal voices and underdogs.
This event also serves as the East Coast premier party for Knight’s new graphic novel, I Was a Teenage Michael Jackson Impersonator. Knight’s work is currently available in the Museum Store and will be on this evening as well.
