Luke Healy will be appearing in conversation with journalist and author Rachel Cooke here on Tuesday 14th June from 7.30-9pm to celebrate the release of his latest graphic novel from Faber & Faber, The Con Artists! Luke will also be signing copies of the book following the talk.
Irish-born, London-based Luke Healy, a 2014 graduate of James Sturm’s Vermont-based Center for Cartoon Studies, burst onto the scene with 2016’s How to Survive in the North, a critical hit. With his delicate linework, convincing characters and mix of biography, reportage and fiction, he has since built on the promise of that early work with autobiographical offerings Permanent Press and the wonderful Americana. The Con Artists represents Luke’s first foray into pure fiction, and we are totally here for it.
