Master artist and comic creator Bill Sienkiewicz will be appearing in-store on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. to sign and sketch and celebrate the one year anniversary of Sunset Comix!
There will be a limited stock of some of Bill’s Moon Knight comics for sale in conjunction with the event, but it is recommended that interested collectors provide their own comic books or graphic novels for signing. Tickets are available on the website now. Signatures are $25 and Remarques are $125. There will a CGC facilitator and witness on site to assist with shipping and verification post-signing.
Bill has agreed to do a limited number of full Sketches. The purchase of a Sketch ticket for the event includes a blank cover variant of MOON KNIGHT #4, but you are not obligated to use this for your sketch request.
Bill Sienkiewicz is a multi-Eisner Award-winning and Emmy Award-nominated artist best known for revamping the style of comic and graphic novel illustration from 1980 onward, earning him an international reputation and cult status across media industries, and entrée into the Eisner Hall of Fame. He is most noted for Marvel’s Elektra: Assassin, Moon Knight, and New Mutants—which inspired FX’s Legion and Disney’s New Mutants—and his acclaimed graphic novel Stray Toasters. He earned two Emmy nominations for his work on the animated series Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? Sienkiewicz has also contributed on-set and promotional artwork for The Batman, Dune, Moon Knight series, 2018 Halloween remake, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Logan, The Grinch, The Green Mile, and Unforgiven. His work has graced numerous album and book covers, U.S. Olympic campaigns, and museum and galleries across the US, Canada, Europe, and Brazil.
