Press Release:
Hello Old School Comic Show fans!
Here we are, August 1st! 3 weeks away!
We have worked closely with the City of Concord NH to come up with a plan. I have provided a link to the guidelines we will be following below.
https://www.nheconomy.com/whatsopen
On that site there are “Universal Guidelines” which we will adhere to in addition to several of the guidelines that may or may not apply to us (just to be safe) including but not limited to: (Retail, Restaurants, Performing Arts & Youth Athletics). These guidelines are set forth by the city of Concord in accordance with CDC and WHO recommendations.
-Masks will be mandatory for everyone during set up and day of show. Worn properly too, no chinstraps! (If you forget yours we have a few freebies then the venue will be selling them.)
-Hand washing stations with single use paper towels have been rented and will placed in a wall at the entrance and attendees will be encouraged to wash their hands upon arriving. Additional self-contained hand washing stations, each also equipped with their own sanitizer dispenser, will be placed throughout the venue.
-Sanitizer stations are everywhere! PLEASE USE THEM!
-We have dedicated a separate entrance to be able to maintain accurate counts of attendees. Only one entrance will be permitted and no re-entry will be allowed.
-Capacity has been reduced from 1365 attendees to less than less 500 allowed in at one time. The number allowed in is based upon the available square footage remaining after vendors set up. These measures will be closely monitored by our staff with Concord Police at the front door.
-The floor plan was redone to allow either an 8’ wall of pipe and drape or a 6’ space between vendors and artists. (Check the website for updated guest list ) www.oldschoolcomicshow.com
-We will have 14’+ wide isles and directional arrows to allow for proper flow of traffic and social distancing.
-There will be staff on site whose sole job is to continually sanitize high traffic areas and bathrooms all day.
We hope to see you at the show! (Unless you’re sick in which case STAY HOME)”
