Battlestar Galactica co-stars Mary McDonnell (President Roslin) and Jamie Bamber (Apollo) will appear this April at The Great Philadelphia Comic Con 2020!
Mary McDonnell is a two-time Oscar-nominated actress known for bringing powerful and complex female characters to the film and television landscape.
She recently starred as “Commander Sharon Raydor” on TNT Drama’s hit series, Major Crimes. She is well known for her staring role in SYFY’s AFI and Peabody award-winning Battlestar Galactica in her critically-praised performance as President Laura Roslin. She received Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for her portrayals of ‘Stands with Fist’ in the Academy Award-winning film Dances With Wolves and as a paraplegic soap opera star in John Sayles’ Passion Fish. Other films include Grand Canyon, Mumford, Sneakers (opposite Robert Redford and Sidney Poitier) and the global hit film Independence Day. Mary will be appearing Saturday and Sunday.
Jamie Bamber has been acting professionally for over 15 years and is probably best known for playing Lee ‘Apollo” Adama in SYFY’s Battlestar Galactica as well as DS Matt Devlin in Law and Order UK. Most recently he could be seen on the last season of Strike Back which airs on Cinemax in the US, on the ITV series Marcella, and had a short recurring role on NCIS.
