| About This Convention | |
| Morganton Comic Book Convention November 16th, 2019 · 10am – 5pm Collett Street Recreation Center 300 Collett Street Morganton, NC 28655 Timmy Mac’s Comics and Games is proud to host the biannual Morganton Comic Con at the Collett Street Rec Center on November 16th, 2019. Doors will open for attendees at 10:00 am and the convention will wind down around 5:00 pm. Admission to the show is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for children (13 and under). Small children (3 and under) get in for free. The main entrance is upstairs in the gym, and that is where you pay for admission and receive your bracelet. There are additional vendors, artists, refreshments, and entertainment with a costume contest downstairs. We will have some of the best Comic Book Dealers in the Southeast attending so there will be plenty of selection. There will also be a great selection of toys, games, anime, and other collectibles. There will be attendees dressed up as your favorite characters from comics, movies, and TV shows. Feel free to attend in your favorite costume. There will also be professional cosplayers on hand from the Ultimate Experience, the 501st Legion, Mandalorian Mercs, Star Trek Independent Fleet, and the Klingon Assault Group. There will be lots to see such as a replica of Baby from The Show Supernatural. There will be life-sized replicas of Yoda and BB-8 from Star Wars and Baby Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. There will be several artists attending. Come by and browse their prints and get an autograph. You can get an original sketch or a copy of a sketch from artists on hand. Some of the artists include Gregbo Watson, Stacey Flemming, Brian Monroe, and several local artists. The Ultimate Experience team will be entertaining attendees. There will be lots to see and lots of photo opportunities so have your phones prepared. It will be a fun-filled day for the entire family so swing by for a good time! |
