The Cartoon Art Museum welcomes Mat Heagertycreator of the new young adult graphic novel Unplugged and Unpopular, on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 1-3pm for a free Toon Talk and signing to follow.

After Erin Song’s parents punish her by banning screen time, the status-obsessed 7th grader discovers aliens using digital devices to shield a planetary invasion! Diary of A Wimpy Kid meets Invasion of The Body Snatchers in this sci-fi comedy for middle readers.
Heagerty will discuss his creative process in the Cartoon Art Museum’s Drawing Room and will sign copies of his book in the Bil Keane Family Lobby. Heagerty’s discussion and book signing are free and open to the public. Limited copies of his graphic novel will be available for sale.
