| About This Convention | |
| The California Comic Convention is returning for its 14th year to the Westin South coast plaza in Orange County, CA on Sunday, January 26, 2020. We will also have events on Saturday the 25th. These include a comic swap with CGC taking submissions from 1-4 pm and a guest artist reception with signings and stories from 6-10 pm. This is a two-day event with a focus on vintage comics and comic book art. Dozens of dealers from across the U.S. will offer a large selection of items sought-after by collectors and investors.
Our scheduled guest artists so far will be Erik Larsen, Joe Staton, Eric Larsen, Jim Steranko and Renee Witterstaetter. They may sketch and will sign during the show. CGC will be available to take attendees’ submissions and to witness the original signatures of our guest artists. Heritage Auctions will be taking consignment and has offered to sponsor some of the guest artists for 2020 CalComicCon. In addition, we will raffle dozens of valuable items throughout the day including CGC graded comics, original comic book pages, guest artist sketches.
