Join Barnes & Noble for a special event on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 AM featuring Jack White and Elinor Blake as they celebrate their children’s book WE’RE GOING TO BE FRIENDS. Jack White will introduce young music lovers to the beloved White Stripes song “We’re Going To Be Friends” with his first children’s book of the same name and inspired by its lyrics. “We’re Going to Be Friends” is one of The White Stripes most enduring and beloved songs. With the help of illustrator Elinor Blake (AKA April March), the perennial favorite feels right at home on the page as a children’s book.
Jack White will lead a reading from the book and the book’s illustrator Elinor Blake (AKA April March) will perform as a special guest DJ! Elinor will DJ beginning at 10am. Both will sign copies following the reading.
This is a wristbanded event. Wristbands will be distributed from our store on a first come, first serve basis beginning November 11 at 9am, to guests who purchase WE’RE GOING TO BE FRIENDS, or guests with proof of purchase of WE’RE GOING TO BE FRIENDS from Barnes & Noble.
• Limit 1 wristband per book.
• Each adult needs to have a wristband to attend.
• No personalization.
• No memorabilia.
• No posed photos.
• There is no limit on how many books can be purchased, but only one book per guest will be signed.
