The Tattered Cover is honored to present a very special evening with Senator Al Franken, in conversation with Governor John Hickenlooper, to present Franken’s newly published memoir, Al Franken, Giant of the Senate on Saturday, June 17th at 6:00 PM.
Senator Al Franken has represented Minnesota in the United States Senate since 2009. Before entering politics, he was an award-winning comedy writer, an extraordinarily popular cast member on Saturday Night Live, a bestselling author, and radio talk show host. Senator Franken will join us to discuss and sign his new book Al Franken, Giant of the Senate, the story of an award-winning comedian who decided to run for office and then discovered why award-winning comedians tend not to do that.
There are two ticket options:
Single Ticket, $32.99 (plus tax and fees): Admits one person to the event and signing line, and includes one copy of Al Franken, Giant of the Senate.
Ticket with Companion, $39.99 (plus tax and fees): Admits two people to the event, and signing line, and includes one copy of Al Franken, Giant of the Senate.
If there are two guests, and each would like a book, please purchase two separate Single Tickets.
Important Event Rules & Restrictions
— Event tickets are available online only, through Eventbrite. Tickets will not be sold in-store or at the venue.
— Digital or printed event ticket must be presented upon entry to pick up your book and signing line number.
— Ticketed guests will pick up your copy of Al Franken, Giant of the Senate, and a numbered signing line ticket when you check in at the event, beginning when the doors open at 5:00 pm.
— Each ticket (single or double admission) is good for one book.
— Event is a presentation beginning at 6:00 pm, followed by audience Q&A, and signing. The event end-time is an estimate.
— Only ticketed guests will have access to the event location. Anyone without a ticket will not be permitted entry.
— Senator Franken will not be personalizing any books or other items.
— Additional books will be available to purchase at the venue.
— Parking is limited. Please consider taking public transportation.
