Midtown Comics Downtown welcomes Double Take (The publishers of Grand Theft Auto) as they release 10 of their brand new zombie comics this September! Stop by for a mega signing on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 7:00 PM with some great creators to help celebrate these new series!
Bill Jemas – fattened Marvel up for the kill between 1999 and 2004. Most well known for his hand in the creation of the Ultimate Marvel universe, he has worked as an executive with Fleer, the NBA, Madison Square Garden and received his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law in 1983.
Michael Coast – is a writer and editor living in Brooklyn, NY. He holds a degree in English from Colgate University, has half a decade of experience working in the lower depths of the film industry, and spends much of his free time running various email chains.
Jeff McComsey – is an American writer/illustrator (MOTHER RUSSIA, FLUTTER, AMERICAN TERROR) working in comics for the past seven years. He is also editor in chief of the New York Times Best selling historical zombie anthology FUBAR, now into its sixth volume. Jeff and his family reside in the quaintly hip city of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Julian Rowe – likes to wrap food in other foods and draw comics. His work has appeared in the New Yorker, and numerous bathroom stalls across America. Occasionally, he stands outside Port Authority and throws Boston crème doughnuts at small dogs. He hopes you enjoy the books!
Young Heller – is an illustrator and tattoo artist living in Brooklyn. Born and raised in NYC, he graduated from School of Visual Arts in Illustration in 2011. He has illustrated for WIRED magazine and has won awards at the Society of Illustrators. Currently he is thinking about finally learning how to drive.
Matthew Summo – was born and raised on Long Island, NY to a struggling actor/wedding singer and a short-order cook. He wrote, edited, and lettered his first comic book in 2009 and used that comic book to land his first paid published work with Double Take. He is a vociferous reader of comic books and always dreamed of writing one professionally. You can find him lurking around Twitter.
