Veteran artist David H. Ross comes to Page and Panel: The TCAF Shop on Friday, August 14, 2015 to launch his new book: Freehand Figure Drawing For Illustrators! Perfect for the beginner just starting to learn their craft, and the working artist needing to draw figures without the reference point of a model, the book takes you through Ross’ techniques for learning to draw figures quickly, covering topics including posture, motion and the difference between male and female physique.
At 7pm, join us in Toronto Reference Library’s Beeton Auditorium for a FREE drawing class led by David Ross himself, featuring lessons from the new books, alongside a slideshow and Q&A session.
At 8pm, we’re moving to Page & Panel (just across the Atrium) to hang out with Ross, grab a copy of his book and get it signed!
