COMIC-CON ANNOUNCES NEXT WAVE OF GUESTS FOR 2015 SHOW
Additional Guests To Be Announced In The Coming Weeks
SAN DIEGO- Comic-Con International (Comic-Con), the nonprofit educational organization dedicated to creating awareness of and appreciation for comics and popular art, today announced the second wave of special guests for its eagerly awaited summer show. The event which draws well over 130,000 unique attendees over a four-day period will again be held in San Diego beginning on Thursday, July 9, and running though Sunday, July 12, 2015, at the San Diego Convention Center.
“Since our beginning in 1970 Comic-Con has a wonderful history of featuring exceptional guests,” commented David Glanzer, spokesperson for the nonprofit organization. “It is clear that trend continues in 2015.”
The second round of guests include:
Author Hugh Howey: WOOL Series.
Writer/artist Scott McCloud: Zot!, Understanding Comics, The Sculptor.
Fantasy Illustrator Luis Royo: The Ice Dragon, Malefic Time.
Writer/artist Jillian Tamaki: Skim, This One Summer.
Writer Mariko Tamaki: Skim, This One Summer.
