Graphic novelist Gene Luen Yang, author of Boxers & Saints, appears at the Main Library to speak and sign books on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
ABOUT GENE LUEN YANG Yang began publishing comic books under the name Humble Comics in 1996. In 1997, he published the comic Gordon Yamamoto and the King of the Geeks and won the Xeric Grant, a self-publishing grant for comic book creators. Since then, Yang has created and collaborated on a number of works, including American Born Chinese, The Eternal Smile, and the two-volume Boxers & Saints.
