About This Convention | |
Building on year over year growth and a hugely successful fifth anniversary show, the Long Beach Comic Expo team is proud that the 2015 show will move February 28 and March 1, 2015, with five-times more floor space, offering more exhibitors, creators and programming all weekend.
“This is a fan and family-friendly convention, and it’s a place that is very receptive to artists,” said Pierre Bernard, Jr., graphic artist on Conan, publisher for Totally Graphic. “It’s a great size show, because there are a lot of fans and exhibitors, but it’s not too big that creators get lost.” As Hollywood moves into the biggest conventions, comic creators and publishers are looking for more opportunities to connect with fans. The Long Beach Comic Expo hosts star creators and award winning publishers and cultivates an atmosphere where comics are still king. “Everyone I know has a great time when they come to Long Beach,” said Craig Miller, president, Wolfmill Entertainment. |
