I have a 7 year old grandson that is starting to read comic books and he believes that he is a superhero. he feels that he hasn’t figured out his powers yet. would a convention like this be good for him to attend? i have never been to one or even heard of one. can you explain to me exactly what a comic book convention is. thank you and does everyone dress up or do i have the wrong idea?
Hi. What you find at a comic convention can vary widely, particularly depending on the size of the convention. Smaller shows like this one are mainly for fans/collectors who want to purchase comics. Sometimes comic book creators are in attendance and may be doing sketches or autographing comics. While some fans may choose to dress up, not everyone does; you will find a lot more fans dressed up in costumes at larger conventions.
