The Greater Cleveland Film Commission has posted a casting call for extras for the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: The Winter Soldier:
MARVEL FEATURE FILM CASTING CALL
- PAID extras for Cleveland scenes filming April & May 2013
- Casting call Friday April 19th & Saturday April 20th
- 10am-3pm NO EARLY LINE-UPS PLS!
- Ages 18 & over only. If your children 9 & over are interested in being extras parents please bring CURRENT, casual snapshot.
- NO minors at casting call please!
- Please bring a pen for application, photos will be taken at no charge! (Business attire preferred, please be well groomed for picture!)

I am not from the Cleveland area. This would be my first time auditioning for an extra in a movie and i was wondering how much are extra’s paid considering i will be driving about 3 hours for this casting. Please let me know very interested in being an extra.

Yeah Kaisha, 2011 I was an extra in Avengers and they paid 8/hr for 8 hours a day and time and half for anything after and we worked 14 hour days…I worked a week it was worth it but I stayed in line for 6 hours to be seen over 15000 ppl but as you say its a 3 hour drive for you so it may or may not be worth it.
