MystiCon is a three day science-fiction, fantasy, horror & pop culture convention based in Roanoke, VA. We offer author readings & signings, an independent film track, LARPing, filking, a con suite, a video room, robotics demos, masquerade, panel discussions with our guests, classic video gaming, board gaming,paranormal investigations, scientists, a dealer room and more! Our 2012 Writer GOH is Sherrilyn Kenyon (Dark-Hunter book series), our Media GOH is Nicki Clyne (“Cally” from Battlestar Galactica), and our Artist GOH is Ursula Vernon (Dragonbreath, Digger, Nurk). Every year we feature a genre-related specialty cake created for MystiCon by Cakes By Carla (www.cakesbycarla.com). MystiCon is a convention that has programming to offer people of all ages.
