Comics writer Mark Millar has announced by video the launch of Kapow! Comic Con, “an event dedicated to the comicbooks and the films, TV shows and games they inspire.” The convention will take place in London, England, April 19th and 20th and already features a great lineup including John Romita Jr., Leinil Yu, Dave Gibbons, Frank Quitely, Mark Millar, Bryan Hitch, Olivier Coipel, Brian Bolland, Andy Diggle, Jock, David Lloyd, Kieron Gillen, Liam Sharp, John McCrea, Sean Phillips, Adi Granov, Chris Weston, and lots more.
KAPOW! COMIC CON is also hosting the first ever annual STAN LEE AWARDS and with categories including Best Comic, Best Superhero or SciFi Movie and Best Comic Book Hero.
