Knoxville–AdventureCon marks the “X” on the map for intrepid treasure seekers this weekend as artists Michael Golden and Steve Scott add some gems to the hunt with two special prints produced just for the convention.

Tennessee’s largest pop culture and collector show, AdventureCon is offering these two 5.5x 8.5 prints exclusively for attendees, and for FREE during a special signing with Golden and Scott!

Michael Golden is pretty much a household name if you know comics and sequential art, with past work on “The ‘Nam,” “Bucky O’Hare” and “The Micronauts” still garnering accolades, while recent work on “X-Men” and Hulk at Marvel continue to draw notice! His recent artbook, “Excess: The Art of Michael Golden,” from Vanguard Productions also sold out this year, going into a second printing! Golden is also the focus of a new DVD from Woodcrest Productions/Eva Ink entitled “Creator Chronicles: Michael Golden,” featuring over six hours of material on the creator responsible for Co-creating Rogue, Bucky O’Hare and Spartan X. Look for his work on the G.I. Joe redux coming soon as well, just in time for the movie!

Steve Scott is known to his fans for his popular work on “Razor,” “Indiana Jones,” and “JLA,” and has the distinction of being the only artist tapped to do any work related to “Batman Dark Knight.” Steve’s comic work appears in the DVD of the movie currently in release. In addition, you can see Steve’s recent work on the upcoming “X-Men Forever” with writer Chris Claremont. Recently returned from a European Tour, Steve is slated for more appearances both internationally and domestically.

Adventure Con takes place June 12-14 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Other guests joining Michael Golden and Steve Scott at the show include Arthur Suydam, Renee Witterstaetter, Margot Kidder, Ray Park, Dave Prowse, Lou Ferrigno, Gary Friedrich, James O’Barr and many more.
