Dark Horse Comics has announced their booth signing and panel schedule for WonderCon 2013! Free comics and/or prints with each signing while supplies last.
Tickets for signings at the Dark Horse booth (#819) will be distributed from the opening of WonderCon on Friday, March 29. Please note that lines may be capped or tickets issued for any signing as needed. Inquire about your favorite signings as early as possible. Some restrictions apply. All events are subject to change.

A lively demonstration on bringing 2D comic art to 3D graphics and back again-Joe Madureira (Vigil Games Darksiders creator; artist for Avenging Spider-Man, Ultimates, X-Men), and Han Randhawa (Vigil Games, Darksiders I and II creative director) use exclusive examples from the creative development process to show how they bring a unique comic inspired vision to 3D life in the new Darksiders II video game from THQ, where you become Death, the most feared rider from the legendary Four Horseman of the Apocalypse. In part two, representatives from Dark Horse Comics demonstrates how they took this highly stylized universe in 3D, converted it back to a 2D comic book series, and expanded on the mythos, revealing scenes and storyline threads that complement the events of the video game. Herb Trimpe has worked on dozens of titles for Marvel Comics including The Incredible Hulk, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, Shogun Warriors, Godzilla and more. Of course he also illustrated that awesome 1st appearance of Wolverine in Hulk #181!

ZACK WHEDON
Zack is a comic book and screenwriter whose work has been featured on the HBO western drama Deadwood, the FOX science-fiction series FRINGE, AMC’s Rubicon. Zack also co-created and co-wrote the parody musical Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog.
Zack is writing both sides of Dark Horse’s FCBD flip book featuring “Star Wars” and “Serenity.” Read a short interview about Zack’s FCBD comic book HERE!

Zack is from a family of writers. Georges is the artist of the best-selling BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER comics from Dark Horse, including the BUFFY/THE GUILD flip-comic that debuts on Free Comic Book Day! Get a sneak peek HERE!
Georges career in comics was inspired by the classic DAREDEVIL #183 by Frank Miller & Klaus Janson. Early in his career, Georges worked on DC Comics characters such as Green Lantern, Superboy and Superman. His first regular ongoing monthly series was Marvel Comics’ Bishop: The Last X-Man in 1999. Jeanty also worked on other Marvel characters including Gambit, Deadpool, Weapon X, and the X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse mini-comic for the Activision video game.
While later working on The American Way for Wildstorm,
Jeanty was contacted by Dark Horse Comics’ Senior Managing Editor, Scott Allie, asking if Georges would be interested in doing the art for a Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic book. Buffy’s creator, Joss Whedon, a fan of Jeanty’s work since Bishop: the Last X-Man, specifically asked for him!
Georges’ work in BUFFY Season 8 and BUFFY Season 9 have been met with tremendous enthusiasm for fans of the TV series that has continued its stories into the comics and graphic novels.
