We’re really excited to be hosting a creator signing by Marvel Comics’ Secret Avengers artist Matteo Scalera here in just about two weeks on Wednesday EVENING, from 6:30 until 8:30pm. With NYCC coming up Matteo is a really busy guy so we’re really pleased that he was able find some time to spend with us before the convention. He’ll be here signing copies of Secret Avengers and sketching at a rare (for us) Wednesday EVENING appearance! Besides Secret Avengers, Matteo was also the artist on Boom Studio’s Valen title, and has worked on a variety of independent projects.  MARK IT DOWN! That’s Wednesday EVENING, October 3rd, from 6:30-8:30! Wednesday is NEW COMICS DAY! Make plans to be here and meet Matteo Scalera!

NJ – Some Like It Rough Signing

Artist Matteo Scalera signs at Little Shop of Comics on Wednesday June 27, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00pm. He recently was announced as the new artist of Secret Avengers starting with issue #29.

His latest sketchbook, Some Like It Rough, will be available for purchase and Matteo will do a free head sketch

For more involved pieces Matteo charges $80 for a bust $180 for full body And many copies of the various Marvel sketch covers will be availble for sale.

Matteo’s art rep Jason Schachter of Essential Sequential will have his portfolio with original pages for sale.
