He is the former Editor-in-Chief for Marvel Comics and Valiant Comics. His writing credits include The Avengers, Secret Wars, Secret Wars II, Action Comics, Adventure Comics, Legion of Super-Heroes, Superboy, Superman’s Pal: Jimmy Olsen, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Star Brand, World’s Finest Comics, Harbinger, Magnus: Robot Fighter, Solar: Man of the Atom, and X-O Manowar. Jim Shooter has created or co-created dozens of characters, including Archer & Armstrong, The Beyonder, Chemical King, Controllers, Emerald Empress, The Fatal Five, Ferro Lad, Graviton, Henry Peter Gyrich, Jocasta, Karate Kid, Laurel Kent, Mordru, Nemesis Kid, Paladin, The Parasite, Persuader Princess Projectra, Rond Vidar, Shadow Lass, Star Brand, Sun-Eater, Symbiote, Tharok, U-Foes, Universo, Validus, and The Wanderers. 1) Marvel Artist : Larry Hama

Larry Hama is a writer/cartoonist/illustrator/actor/musician who has
worked in comics, tv and film. He is best known as the writer of Marvel’s
“GI Joe” comics in the ‘eighties, and as the writer of Marvel’s
“Wolverine” in the ‘nineties. More recently he has scripted “Spooks,” and
“Barack the Barbarian” for Devil’s Due Comics, “GI Origins” and “GI Joe A
Real American Hero” for IDW as well as various animation and video game
projects. He was Artist in Residence at Asian/Pacific/American Arts
Institute at NYU in 2012. Most recently, he is the author of “The Death of
Captain America” a prose novel for Marvel (hardcover) that features
characters (Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Nick Fury) who are prominent in
the new Captain America movie.

In comics, he has written, edited or drawn for Avengers, Blaze, Nth Man,
The Nam, Conan, Batman, Wonder Woman, Bizarre Adventures, X-Men,
Spider-Man, Daredevil, and dozens more. His illustrations and cartoons
have appeared in National Lampoon, Esquire, New York and Rolling Stone. He
has appeared on Broadway in Stephen Sondheim’s “Pacific Overtures” and on
TV in MASH, SNL and “Another World.”


2)Ultracon gives a warm welcome to Marvel Comics Artist : Pat Broderick

comic book artist known for his work on the Micronauts. Broderick also
pencilled the four-part “Batman: Year Three” storyline, written by Marv
Wolfman, which detailed the first meeting of Batman and Tim Drake.

4) Steve Cardenas The Red Power Ranger heads to Ultracon!

Steve Cardenas is a American martial artist and former actor, perhaps most
noted for playing Rocky DeSantosin the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV
series.

Steve Cardenas has been in martial arts for 28 years. He earned 5th degree
black belt in tae kwon do and a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. His
character, Rocky, replaced Jason Lee Scott (played by Austin St. John) as
the Red Ranger in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV series, and he later
became the Blue Ranger for Power Rangers Zeo. He had no previous acting
experience and had to learn on the job.

5) Larry Mainland from the Walking dead coming to Ultracon!

Larry Mainland is best known as a featured zombie in “The Walking Dead”.
His image was the first to be released from the set before the show aired
and has been used extensively for advertising in more than 135 countries.
He has been on the cover of numerous magazines, such as “Entertainment
Weekly” in the US and “SFX”, the #1 Sci-Fi magazine in the United Kingdom,
twice and almost countless articles worldwide. He’s seen on t-shirts,
mugs, buttons and virtually anything you can put an image on, including
board games and even on “Xbox Live”.

His other Film and TV credits also include such notables as “Sick People”,
“Contagion”, “The Three Stooges”, “Level Up”, “Remnant” and “Home”…just to
name a few. In August, 2015 he will be appearing in the new movie
“Goosebumps”, so be sure to look out for that!
