NYC – Zen Ghosts Signing

JON J MUTH  signs on Wednesday, October 20th at 5-7pm.

Books of Wonder is pleased to announce that on Wednesday, October 20th, we will host award-winning author/artist JON J MUTH for a reception to celebrate the publication of Zen Ghosts and the opening of an exhibit and sale of the book’s art. The reception will begin at 5pm with light refreshments and time to view JON J MUTH’s magnificent artwork.

At 6pm, JON J MUTH will present his newest picture book, Zen Ghosts, the third book in the Zen series which begins with his Caldecott Honor Book Zen Shorts and continues with Zen Ties. In Zen Ghosts, Addy, Karl, and Michael are planning their Halloween costumes, when their panda friend, Stillwater, stops by in his ghost costume – a spirit mask and flowing blue kimono. Stillwater promises that he will tell a frightening ghost story to the children if they meet him after they finish the night’s trick-or-treating. But when the children arrive at Stillwater’s house for the ghost story, they are treated to a strange and beautiful tale about a young woman who splits her spirit in two. Following his presentation, the author/artist will take questions from the audience, then sign copies of all of his enchanting books. The artwork will remain on display through the end of the month.
