DC Entertainment Announces Signing Schedule at NYCC 2016

New York Comic Con (NYCC) is always one of the best ways for fans to meet the talented list of writers and artists behind DC and Vertigo’s most popular stories for meet-and-greets and signings.

This year’s booth (South Concourse, Booth #4002) will feature some of the fans’ favorite REBIRTH talent including Tom King and David Finch (BATMAN), Steve Orlando (SUPERGIRL), Christopher Priest (DEATHSTROKE) and DC Publisher Jim Lee (SUICIDE SQUAD), among many, many others. Already a smash hit with comic book die-hards and novices alike, the curator of DC’s Young Animal imprint, Gerard Way, will be signing copies of DOOM PATROL with artist Nick Derington.

Celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Amazon Princess just a few weeks after NYCC on Oct. 21, a number of past and present Wonder Woman talent will be on-hand for signings including, WONDER WOMAN Writer Greg Rucka, WONDER WOMAN: THE TRUE AMAZON Writer and Artist Jill Thompson, as well as legendary Wonder Woman Artist José Luis García-López.

Panel Schedule for Baltimore Comic Con 2016

The 17th annual Baltimore Comic-Con returns to the Baltimore Convention Center the weekend of September 2-4, 2016. Tickets are available now for General Admission, VIP, and Harvey Awards! As is the case every year, we have received a steady stream of requests for our Panel schedule — details are now ready for release, and we’re really excited to share them with you!

Friday will feature a panel on our 2016 Baltimore Comic-Con Yearbook featuring the cast of Archie Comics, a spotlight on J.M. DeMatteis, and numerous panels featuring some of the industry’s largest publishers including DC, IDW, and Valiant Entertainment!

Saturday, publisher panels include Marvel, BOOM! Studios, and Archie, spotlight panels on Joe Giella, Al Jaffee, John McCrea, Guest of Honor Kevin Eastman, and media guests Candice Patton, Kristian Nairn, and Sean Astin, and a drawing demonstration from Adam Hughes.

Sunday, learn about the connection between music and comics, world building, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and attend spotlights on Steve Englehart, Howard Chaykin, Soman Chainani, and media guest Hayley Atwell!

Award-winning writer J.M. DeMatteis began his career in the late-’70s working on DC Comics’ horror line of books. In 1980, he moved over to Marvel, where he worked onThe Defenders and Captain America. He is currently working with long-time collaborator, Keith Giffen on DC’s Scooby Apocalypse, as well as The Adventures of the Augusta Wind Vol. 2: The Last Story and The Last One from IDW Publishing. As cosplay has grown, many have seen very elaborate cosplay that may cost hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars. A reading of scenes from The Fifth Beatle TV pilot script, adapted from the award-winning graphic novel based on the life of Beatles manager Brian Epstein, and shooting in 2017. In January, BOOM! Studios launched Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, a new comic book series based on Saban Brands’ hit ’90s live-action children’s TV series about a group of ordinary teenagers who “morphed” into superheroes to save the world from evil.  – Wizard World Austin Comic Con today announced its diverse programming schedule, featuring unique celebrity Q&A’s, music, film screenings and discussions, artist schools, contests and more for the event, set for Friday through Sunday, Nov. 11-13 at the Austin Convention Center.  Sessions featuring Adam Baldwin, Hayden Panettiere and notables from such popular TV programs and films as STAR WARS, “Buffy: The Vampire Slayer,” “The Walking Dead,” and WILLY WONKA & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY are among the highlight attractions.

New Orleans Comic Con is the first stop on Wizard’s 2011 North American tour, which to date has 13 events scheduled. Hours are Saturday, Jan. 29, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Jan. 30, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.. Advance adult single-day tickets are $25 ($30 on site); two-day weekend tickets are $40 ($45 on site), and tickets are free for children age 10 and under when accompanied by a paid adult (limit two children per adult).
