Splash Page Comic Art will be setup in ARTIST ALLEY this year for New York Comic Con 2016 with the following artists: Roland Boschi, Max Fiumara, Paolo Rivera, Goran Sudzuka, and Dalibor Talajic.
Roland Boschi has worked on Ghost Rider with Jason Aaron, Wolverine MAX, Punisher including Frankencastle, Magneto, and X-Men titles. He has also done work on Secret Wars, Hail Hydra, and Winter Soldier: The Bitter March.
Max Fiumara has worked on several titles including Amazing Spider-Man, Namor, and Hulk Smash Avengers, along with Four Eyes, his creator-owned series through Image with writer Joe Kelly, and worked on a long run of Abe Sapien for Dark Horse.
Paolo Rivera became a household name with Marvel on their Mythos series as well as Amazing Spider-Man. Paolo transitioned primarily to pencil and ink work on covers and pencils on interiors with his father Joe doing inks, on his Daredevil run. He also worked for Valiant and most recently on Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. 1953.
Goran Sudzuka broke through with Outlaw Nation, and went on to do Hellblazer projects, Y the Last Man, Ghosted, Wolverine, Thors, and most recently Daredevil.
Dalabor Talajic has worked on a number of Marvel titles including several Deadpool projects including Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, Dexter, Hit Monkey, and recently Red Wolf.
We have opened pre-signup lists on a first come first serve basis for Roland, Max, Goran, and Dalibor and the pieces must be picked up at NYCC. Artist Alley Table locations will be posted closer to the show date.
While Lee Bermejo will not have his own table, he’ll be at the show for a limited time so he’s taking TWO pre-order convention sketches.

This is the first in a series of of talks on comics and sequential art hosted by the University of Pennsylvania.
Well known for illustrating prestigious comic series like FINAL CRISIS, BEFORE WATCHMEN: COMEDIAN, and WANTED, as well as painting countless covers for Marvel and DC, J.G. Jones has created some of the most iconic and memorable images of the modern comics age. Last year he partnered with Mark Waid to debut the gorgeous and controversial STRANGE FRUIT, a fully painted science fiction comic confronting bigotry in the Jim Crow south. Join us for a talk with J.G. about art, race, and the difficulty of telling challenging stories in the comics industry.

Brian K. Vaughan, Marcos Martin, and Muntsa Vincente appear at Midtown Comics Downtown on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 1:00 PM to sign hardcover copies of their sci-fi mystery comic hit, The Private Eye! The Eisner Award-winning digital comic takes place in a future where everyone’s secrets were exposed, so each person feels the need to come up with a secret identity. The story will still remain in its original widescreen format in the hardcover collection (which contains issues #1-10).
Purchase of the Private Eye HC is required to attend and everyone is limited to having only two items signed.

Goran & Dalibor will each be offering a FREE sketched on blank comic for a $400+ original art purchase of their work. Sebastian & Max will also each offer either a 9 X 12″ sketch or blank comic for any $400+ original art purchase of each of their work. Buy $400 of art from Goran & get one of his sketches for free, $400 of Dalibor’s and get one of his for free etc.
Goran and Dalibor will be sketching throughout the show. Max & Sebastian will NOT be doing any sketching other than the Art Promotion pieces.

It’s Canada vs. the U.S.A. in an international signing tour to promote the release of WE STAND ON GUARD #1, writer Brian K. Vaughan’s first new book since SAGA, and a return to comics for legendary Hollywood storyboard artist (and proud Canadian) Steve Skroce.
WE STAND ON GUARD is an action-packed military thriller about a futuristic conflict between Canada and the United States, so in honor of their story, the creators will be appearing together at two different signings, one in each of their home countries.
Ironically enough, Brian and Steve will be enjoying Canada Day, July 1st, in the United States, with an epic release party at the world-famous MELTDOWN COMICS in Los Angeles, CA from 7 to 9pm.

Author Brad Meltzer appears with writer Brian K. Vaughan to discuss the writing life and his new novel, The President’s Shadow, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 on 8:00 PM!
Brad Meltzer is the New York Times bestselling author of The Inner Circle, The Book of Fate, and seven other bestselling thrillers including The Tenth Justice, Dead Even, The First Counsel, The Millionaires, The Zero Game, The Book of Lies, and The Fifth Assassin. His newest novel is The President’s Shadow.
In addition to his fiction, Brad is one of the only authors to ever have books on the bestseller list for Non-Fiction (History Decoded), Advice (Heroes for My Son and Heroes for My Daughter), Children’s Books (I Am Amelia Earhart, I Am Abraham Lincoln, I Am Albert Einstein, and I Am Rosa Parks) and even comic books (Justice League of America, Green Arrow, Identity Crisis), for which he won the prestigious Eisner Award.
