Shock Pop Comiccon welcomes wrestling legends Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Diamond Dallas Page
Jake thrilled fans for decades, coming to the ring with his snake Damien hidden away in a sack held over his shoulder, only to be let loose and placed across his unwilling opponents. During his time in the WWE, he crossed paths and had memorable feuds with all of the top stars, Andre The Giant, Rick Rude, Ricky the Dragon Steamboat, Ultimate Warrior, Earthquake, Honky Tonk Man, and many more. Sometimes good, often bad, he always warned you “never trust a snake”.
Jake the Snake will be joined by Diamond Dallas Page, 3 time WCW Heavyweight Champion, two time United States Champion, four time WCW Tag Team Champion, one time WCW TV Champion, one time WWF European Champion, and one time WWF World Tag Team Champion. DDP is most known for his time in WCW, and his brief time in the WWF, now WWE. DDP had notable feuds with Macho Man, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Goldberg, and Undertaker, amongst many other matches throughout his entire wrestling career.
DDP also crossed over to film, his most popular role to date being Billy Ray Snapper in Rob Zombie’s Devils Rejects, alongside show guest Danny Trejo as the “Unholy Two”. DDP is also the innovator of DDP yoga, a fitness program that has changed the lives of many people for the better, and can be found at http://ddpyoga.com/
We are extremely proud to have both legends join us for Shock Pop Comiccon on February 13-15 2015 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center

Comments Off on NYC – WWE® Superstars #1 Signing
Mick Foley signs at Midtown Comics Downtown on Saturday, December 14th at 1:00PM!
Midtown Comics in New York City is excited to welcome WWE® Legend Mick Foley for a special book signing for the launch of his new comic book, WWE® Superstars #1, on Saturday, December 14th, at 1:00pm at Midtown Comics’ Downtown location. This is a limited capacity event for fans who purchase WWE® Superstars #1, and Midtown Comics advises attendees to arrive early, and dress appropriately for cold weather.
During his Hall of Fame career, three-time WWE® champion Mick Foley became one of WWE’s most unlikely success stories under the guise of three distinct personas — the unpredictable Cactus Jack, the demented hippy known as Dude Love and everyone’s favorite mental patient, Mankind. Today, Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy goes by the name on his birth certificate and is retired from the ring. The adventurous spirit that captured the hearts of fans worldwide, however, shines through in his various creative endeavors. In addition to spending time with his wife and four children, the Hardcore Legend can be found working with several charitable initiatives, delivering one-liners in his live comedy show Tales From Wrestling Past, and immersing himself in his writing. He is the author of an insightful, New York Times-bestselling autobiography “Have a Nice Day: A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks,” three additional memoirs, four children’s books (Two of which were illustrated by Jill Thompson, another illustrated by Jerry “The King” Lawler), two fiction novels, and now this exciting new comic series WWE® Superstars.
WWE® Superstars #1: Written by Mick Foley with art by Alitha Martinez.
