A native Texan and avid anime fan, Josh Grelle has been working in voice work for almost 10 years now. After starting with ADV Films in January 2004, Josh was quickly bombarded with tons of in-booth experience on a wide range of shows, including: Wedding Peach, Steam Detectives, 009-1, and the legendary Gatchaman. He began working for FUNimation entertainment in 2006. Since then, he has starred in numerous titles; his most famous being Kenichi in Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple. Other roles include Kyohei in the Wallflower, Kouichi in Linebarrles of Iron, Yuki in Future Diary, Itsuki in Initial D, and Kuranosuke in Princess Jellyfish. More recent roles include Chow from Starship Troopers: Invasion, Nicky in Mass Effect: Paragon Lost, Kazuya Aoi in Freezing, Yuji Sakai in Shakugan no Shana, Akihisa Yoshii in Baka and Test, and Komatsu in Toriko.
Greg Ayres has spent the last eleven years working in an industry he had admired for years as a fan. With over 200 credits to his name, this fan-boy has managed to get to play a variety of characters that are almost as colorful as his hair. He was thrilled to be a part of the Toonami re-launch last summer, in the roles of Ganta Igarashi in Deadman Wonderland, and Heihachi Hayashida in Samurai 7, and even more thrill to follow that up the following summer’s thriller Another as Kouichi Sakakibara. His most recent roles include Satoru Asahina in From the New World, Kenji Nakanishi in Say I Love You, Sion in No. 6, Heisuke Toudou in Hakuoki, Tommyrod in Toriko, Arikawa in This Boy Can Fight Aliens, Tomoki Sakurai, in Heaven’s Lost Property, and Volken, in the Book of Bantorra. For the first time in almost a decade, Top Cow’s sensational digital painting artist, Stjepan Sejic, will be in the U.S. on tour in Southern California! A smattering of signings and events are lined up July 12th – 14th for you to meet Stjepan in all his Croatian majesty.
Before you even ask, yes Stjepan will be sketching at each location. However, he will be limiting his sketches to only 20 per location, so be sure to get to the singing nearest you nice and early! Sketches are $20 each, and will be done on the backs of Top Cow comics with special sketch covers purchased at the signing. Signatures will be free however, so bring stuff you want signed, or pick up the books at each location that you want Stjepan to sign!
For those of you who don’t like in Southern California or the surrounding areas, but who will be at San Diego Comic Con, you’re in luck! Stjepan will be joining Top Cow at San Diego this July as well! Information about his signings and sketches in San Diego will come in the near future.

The Comic Depot is offering a fun free day to all of our customers and comic fans on Saturday, Aug. 13. The day will feature appearances from local comic creators including writer Ron Marz, artists Joe Staton, Matthew Dow Smith, Nelson Blake and Richard Kane Ferguson, and toy and statue sculptor Paul Harding. The creators’ collective credits include thousands of comic issues, including Green Lantern, Silver Surfer, Batman, Witchblade, Dr. Who, Scooby Doo and Magdalena, as well as DC Direct action figures and Magic the Gathering cards.
There will also be a 1960s Batmobile replica onsite, as well as characters in costume. Some of the artists will also be holding a drawing class for children.
“Creating comics is a pretty solitary job, whether you’re an artist or writer. So the chance to get out and meets the fans is always great,” said Marz, who has written comics for more than 20 years. “And, honestly, I want to get my picture taken in the Batmobile!”
The appearances will take place from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and a storewide sale on comics, action figures and graphic novels will occur all day!
