Cartoonist Liz Prince appears in conversation with Tim Finn at Brookline Booksmith on Tuesday, February 11 at 7pm to speak about her new collection of comic strips, Alone Forever. Co-sponsored by Hub Comics
It’s not so bad to be alone. After all, there are records, kitties, and so, so many bearded guys. Ignatz Award-winning artist Liz Prince explores the ups and downs of singledom in her totally delightful, hilarious collection from her popular webcomic, Alone Forever. She will be joined in conversation by Tim Finn, professor at Art Institute of Boston, and owner of Union Square, Somerville’s Hub Comics.
We’re holding a caption contest in honor of Alone Forever. The winner will receive a copy of Alone Forever with a limited edition bookplate, a $20 gift certificate to Brookline Booksmith, and other fun things including COMPLETE GLORY. Attendance at this event is required to win; failure to attend results in the forfeiture of any prizes won and the good time you would have at this amazing event. Click here to enter!

Joe Quinones writes on his blog:
This coming Sunday (December 12 · 5:00pm – 7:00pm) Maris Wicks and I, along with our friends Ann Smith, Evan Larson, Liz Prince, and Tim Finn are having a gallery opening at our local coffee shop, Bloc 11. The show has actually been up since mid-November, but we didn’t have the time to do an ‘opening’ for the show until now. There we will have prints, stuffed animals, sculpture and original art on display, as well as additional prints and t-shirts for sale at the opening. Maris and I will also be bringing cupcakes. Come on by, local Boston folk!
Liz Prince signs at Comicopia on Saturday Sept. 4th from 1-4pm. She is the author of the Delayed Replays and Will You Still Love Me If I Wet The Bed? along with several mini-comics.
