Spooky Empire’s Zombie Walk is this coming Friday!

The Zombie Walk starts at the Rosen Centre this year. The Rosen Centre is located at 9840 International Drive, across the street from the Hilton. Gathering at the Rosen Centre will start at approximately 12pm for all of you who would like to get your makeup done. There will be food and drink specials all afternoon for Spooky Empire attendees. The walk starts at 4pm! We want to see as many zombies as possible, so drag your carcus over there and join the fun. Let’s make this one the biggest one yet!

Spooky Empire Picks New Venue for 2012 Ultimate Horror Weekend!

With the closing of the Wyndham Hotel, the home of Ultimate Horror weekend from the start. the promoters are now up to the task of picking a new venue for the future. They have chosen the Hilton Orlando! Located just south of the Convention Center and right off the 528 expressway. This will be easier access for fans coming from the airport. This year’s dates are slightly different, October 26-28th. Future dates will be the 3rd weekend in October and May-Hem will stay at Memorial Day weekend. Fans still get the $99 room rate. The hotel has a awesome pool area with a lazy river! This looks to be the best show ever.

This weekend Spooky Empire returns to the Wyndham Orlando Resort on October 7-9, 2011

Spooky Empire is proud to announce the greatest gathering of horror icons to ever hit the state of Florida, including a Killer Klowns From Outer Space Reunion featuring the creators Stephen, Edward and Charlie Chiodo, Suzanne Snyder, Grant Cramer, Harrod Blank and Mike Martinez. Legendary author Clive Barker (“Hellraiser”, “Candyman”) will be on hand all three days to meet his fans as will the very recognizable actor Malcolm McDowell (“A Clockwork Orange”, “Caligula”, “Heroes”, “Entourage”).

But that’s not all…also making appearances at this three-day fest will be Lance Henriksen from hit films including “Aliens” and “Terminator” and the television show “Millennium”. From the very popular HBO series “True Blood”, Sam Trammell “Sam”, Kristin Bauer “Pam” and Mariana Klaveno “Lorena” will be greeting their hordes of fans. Horror fan favorites Jeffrey Combs (“Re-Animator”) and Tom Atkins (“Halloween II”, “The Fog”, “Night of the Creeps”) are also slated to appear.

Some returning guests and Spooky Empire favorite are Tony Todd (“Candyman”), Doug Bradley (“Hellraiser”), Kane Hodder (“Friday the 13th VII & VIII”), Bill Moseley (“House of 1,000 Corpses”) and paranormal favorites Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango from GhostHunters. William Katt (“Carrie”, “Greatest American Hero”) will be ‘flying’ in to meet his fans plus come out and meet The Boondock Saints, Norman Reedus, Sean Patrick Flanery and David Della Rocco.

Spooky Empire has added a little bit of rock n roll to their lineup with the addition of Steven Adler “Guns n Roses”, Jacoby Shaddix “Papa Roach”, Paul Phillips “Puddle of Mudd”, and Bobby Blotzer “Ratt”.

The weekend will be packed full of incredible events, kicked off by their annual Zombie Walk hosted by Uno’s Chicago Grill, Film Festival, Tattooing, Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament, Hearse & Creepy Car Show, Costume Contest, Live Bands featuring “Soulidium”, “The Green Goblyn Project” and “SML8”, and Friday night’s DeadBangers Ball by the pool. Let’s do the time warp again, with a live shadowcast of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, hosted by original cast member Barry Bostwick “Brad” and much more!

Spooky Empire is Bringing the Circus to O-Town in 2011

Killer Klowns from Outer Space reunion

Fresh off a successful new event (May-Hem), Spooky Empire has jumped right into their annual show, Ultimate Horror Weekend. The date this year is October 7-9, 2011 held at the usual haunt, The Wyndham Orlando Resort. Now nine years and growing, Spooky Empire has become a well-established show, known all over for the some of the best guests, events, and of course parties! With a stellar starting lineup, this year is no exception.

The first batch of celebrity guests has been announced and includes some frightful new faces. Your requests have not gone unnoticed. Lance Henriksen has signed on as one of our first big announcements. Lance is best known for his parts in Aliens, Terminator, Powder and the TV series Millennium. Another new addition is Tom Atkins of Halloween III, The Fog, and Night of the Creeps. Barry Bostwick will also be making his first appearance at Spooky Empire. Mr. Bostwick is best remembered for his part in the cult film “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”, as Brad.

Spooky Empire will turn into a regular three ring circus when fans catch a glimpse of the Killer Klowns from Outer Space reunion. They’ve rounded up some of the cast and crew including the Chiodo Brothers; Stephen, Edward and Charlie as well as Suzanne Snyder, Grant Cramer and a couple of “klowns” Harrod Blank and Mike Martinez. Get your popcorn ready!

Other guests joining in on the fun will be Tony Todd of Candyman, iconic wrestler Roddy Piper also known for his film They Live, and Gunnar Hansen, the original “Leatherface” from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. For the fans of House of 1,000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects…Bill Moseley, Michael Berryman and Tom Towles will be in attendance. Michael Berryman is, of course, best known for his part in The Hills Have Eyes.

Joe Bob Brigg’s will be “Drivin’ In” and William Katt will be “Flyin’ in” to Spooky Empire. Horror Host Briggs is best known as the host of Joe Bob’s Drive-in Theater while William Katt is best known for his role as “The Greatest American Hero” and the classic film “Carrie” . Jill Whitlow of Night of the Creeps, Kyra Schon and fan favorite Bill Hinzman of Night of the Living Dead will be together again, exclusively at Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend! Returning guests The Ghosthunters – Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango – will be back as well.
