PAUL CORNELL will be signing Captain Britain and MI13: Vampire State at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8JR, on Thursday 28th January 6 – 7pm

The king of the vampires is back. As if the hoards of demons that Pete Wisdom let out in order to defeat the Skrulls in England weren’t enough, now Dracula has entered the scene. What does he want with Spitfire? And how will an election help his cause? Surely Captain Britain and the rest of MI13 have a way to defeat him! Plus: Meggan is Captain Britain’s wife, an X-Man in Hell. And she’s going to fight her way home. Can she get back to Earth in time to help her husband turn back Dracula and his evil invasion?

Paul’s professional writing career began in 1990 when he won a young writers’ competition and his entry, Kingdom Come, was screened on BBC Two. He’s a two-time Hugo nominated scriptwriter for the BBC’s new Doctor Who series, as well as the creator of Who spin-off Bernice Summerfield and the author of Marvel comics new sensation, Captain Britain and MI-13. With a writing career now spanning novels, non-fiction and audio plays, his prose story Catherine Drewe Lou Anders’ epic anthology, Fast Forward 2.
